Best. Streak. Ever...

I'm usually the first one to attack the Atlanta Braves, but this year I have no choice but to marvel in their greatness. 14 straight division titles?!?! Are you kidding me? That is almost as bad as me playing MLB 05' on PlayStation and winning nine World Series in a row with the Yankees. 14 division titles? Again, what an unbelievable statistic! In case you didn't know, the last time the Braves lost the division, President Bush was in office...that's right, the first one! When it comes to this year's team, I don't even know where to start. Do we talk about the consistency of Bobby Cox and Leo Mazzone (although they coach the postseason with their hands around their throat)? Do we mention how the Braves broke a MLB record by using 17 rookies in the starting lineup this year? Do we analyze the revival of Andruw Jones? Either way you look at it, the Braves are a special team and organization. What they've done this year is nothing short of spectacular. It's just too bad they'll be watching the World Series from home again this year.
